Directions

Llanover Garden is closer than you think! . In Llanover village, turn off the A4042 into the entrance which is marked by a pair of tall black iron gates, opposite a bus stop.
NP7 9EF SatNav gives directions to Llanover village but do not follow the instruction to turn down the narrow Hanover Lane which runs down the side of the garden.

ACCESSIBILITY

Whether you are planning to visit us on an open day, by appointment or organising a large group outing, please find relevant practical information for an enjoyable and stress-free day below.

Parking

For open days there is plenty of parking on grassland near the entrance. There are reserved places for disabled parking next to the pedestrian gate in the park field.

Small buses can park at the house.

Large buses can park on the A4042 at the entrance to Llanover House, where there is a pull-in bus stop on either side of the road.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Disabled access

The garden is generally level enabling wheelchair access.  However, apart from the main drive, which is smooth tarmac, the paths are either gravel or grass.  This means pushing wheelchairs can be strenuous. The toilet cubicles are on the flat, have handrails but are not large enough to fit wheelchairs into.
